This ingenious book can convert despair into a ray of hope, and can undoubtedly prove to you that there is always light at the end of a tunnel.

As people living in a fast-paced world, we are constantly trying to seek a single moment of peace, and happiness. We are trying to look for a source which can teach us about life, but we fail perpetually. Why does this happen? And what happens when you finally find a book that will teach you literally everything that there is to know about life?

Every reader of the ‘Lost wisdom of the Swastika’ by Ajay Chaturvedi can relate to the above statement. His ingenious book can convert despair into a ray of hope, and can undoubtedly prove to you that there is always light at the end of a tunnel.

The book is a fictional story told through the experiences of Zian, a US based citizen and a character representing nearly all of us who choose to believe in the power of science and logic, forgetting that religion and spirituality can also be reasoned. After the horrifying tragedy of 9/11, Zian travels to the Himalayas in order to look for several meanings. Guided by Maharaj ji, an ascetic, he learns to control everything through his ‘conscious breathing’, and understands the meaning of life through the combination of discipline, yoga, and meditation.

The book is a page-turner with its lucid language and will keep you engaged throughout, only to lead you to a sudden, disappointing revelation in the last chapter ‘East’s mythology is west’s sci-fi- age of selfies.’ Regardless, the book will tempt you to take a trip to the Himalayas, and live the same life as Zian did in the book.
